Cost of annual living funds for student visa to increase this February 2018
The Department of Home Affairs announces the upcoming changes for the cost of annual living from 1 February 2018. The increase was based on the Australia’s consumer price index (CPI).
The new annual living amount from 1 February 2018 will be as follows:

| Student or guardian: | AUD 19,830 | AUD 20,290 |
| Partner or spouse: | AUD 6,940 | AUD 7,100 |
| Child: | AUD 2,970 | AUD 3,040 |
